Garhshankar - A meeting of the Tehsil Unit of the Revolutionary Marxist Party of India was held at the local Gandhi Park under the chairmanship of Comrade Avtar Singh. Party secretary Ramji Das Chouhan informed about the decisions taken in the meeting and said that in the meeting where participation in the actions taken in the past and satisfaction was expressed. While reviewing the political situation of the entire country and the province, deep concern was expressed.
He said that the ruling Modi government in the country is playing a very dangerous game of dividing people into religions, castes and sects in the parliament elections to divert attention from the real issues of the working people. Constitutional institutions like ED, CBI and Income Tax Department are being used to intimidate and threaten opponents. In order to loot more votes in the elections, very low-level, inferior tactics are being adopted. The common people of the country have completely turned their backs on the problems of the farmers, labourers, laborers and the unemployed. It was decided in the meeting that a concerted campaign would be launched to remove the communal fascist government of BJP from power.
Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar's 133rd birth anniversary will be celebrated as Constitution Day and International Labor Day will be celebrated on a large scale and people will be made aware about the policies of the government.
In today's meeting, a decision was also taken to contribute fully to the struggles being fought by various organizations of the working people. District leaders of the party Comrade Kulbhushan Kumar, Balwant Ram, Shingara Ram Bhajjal, Gopal Das, Sham Sundar, Davinder Singh, Kishori Lal, Giani Avtar Singh Thana and Ramji Das Chauhan attended the meeting.
