
Special meeting of Punjab Police Welfare Association held
SAS Nagar, April 6 - A special meeting of the Punjab Police Welfare Association was held under the chairmanship of District President of the Association Retired Inspector Mahinder Singh at the District Office of the Association Police Station Complex Sohana in which the problems related to the ex-employees and officers of the police department were discussed.
SAS Nagar, April 6 - A special meeting of the Punjab Police Welfare Association was held under the chairmanship of District President of the Association Retired Inspector Mahinder Singh at the District Office of the Association Police Station Complex Sohana in which the problems related to the ex-employees and officers of the police department were discussed. Done and strategy formulated to solve the problems and difficulties. In the meeting, the Punjab government was demanded to implement the revised pay scales from 2016 immediately and increase the pension of the pensioners who retired before 2016. Medical bill approval of current and former police personnel should be abolished and military pattern and card system should be implemented.
During the meeting, District President Retired Inspector Mahinder Singh was specially honored by all the members of the district unit for becoming the General Secretary of the Punjab State Police Pensioners Association. In the meeting, discussions were also held regarding the Lok Sabha elections.
Retired SP Sarwan Singh, Retired DSP JP Singh, and Satnam Singh, Retired Inspector Paramjit Singh Malakpur District Vice President, Retired Inspector Ratan Singh, Dr. Daljit Singh, Harvinder Kumar, Retired Thanedar Gurmail Singh, Rajinder Singh Dhol and Kashmira were present in the meeting. Singh, Balbir Singh, Gyan Singh, Ramesh Kumar Kurali were also present.
