Winners of painting and slogan writing competition were awarded

Nawanshahr - District Child Protection Unit, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa (IAS), following the direction received from the Punjab State Commission for Protection of Child Rights Mohali in District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Education Department. Slogan writing competitions of school children were organized with the support.

Slogan writing competitions of school children were organized with the support.
During the said competition, Arnjit, a class V student from Government Primary School, Makandpur, secured the first position in elementary education.
Sharanjit Kumar, a class V student of Government Primary School, Barsia, bagged the second position
And Sukhmani, a class V student from Government Primary School, Ramgarh, bagged the third position.
Deeksha, a student of class IX from Government Senior Secondary School, Hedi, bagged the first position during the slogan competition in secondary education.
  Muskan Rani, a class XII student from Baba Gola Senior Secondary School, Banga, secured the second position
And Arjun Kumar, a class 10 student from Government Senior Secondary School Musapur, bagged the third position.
   Deputy Commissioner Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa awarded Rs 5100 to the first place winners in the slogan competition, Rs 3100 to the second place winners and Rs 2100 to the third place winners.
            In addition to the above, four children from district Nawanshahr were winners in the state level petting competition organized by the Child Welfare Council, Punjab. In which Angel, a fifth grade student from Government Primary School Khan Khana, got the first place Harpreet Singh, a student of 11th standard from Govt. C.S. School, Retenda secured the fourth position Daman Kumar, a student of class IX from Government High School, Gunachur secured the fifth position And Lavneet Kaur, a class IV student from Government Primary School, Mukandpur, bagged the fifth position. The winners of the state level petting competition were honored by the Deputy Commissioner with medals and certificates. During the said program, refreshments were also given to the winning children by the District Child Protection Unit. During the program, teachers from different schools were also present with the winning children. During the program, Mrs. Kanchan Arora (District Child Protection Officer), Rajinder Kaur, (CPO)(NIC), Shanu Rana (Accountant), Kanta (Outreach Worker) were present on behalf of District Child Protection Unit.
