Ration cards will be made in Punjab

Whether it is the question of jobs in Punjab, free electricity or the question of Road Safety Force in Punjab. Special attention is being given to the development of villages. These views were expressed by the State Food, Civil Supplies, Consumer Affairs, Forest and Wildlife Conservation Minister Mr. Lal Chand Kataruchak after laying the foundation stone of water supply in village Bhanwal today.
On this occasion, the Cabinet Minister said that the process of making ration cards is being started very soon in the entire Punjab so that no beneficiary is deprived of the card. He said that by getting the ration card made, the beneficiaries can avail the benefits of various schemes. He said that soon the process of making cards will be started in the entire state.
After laying the foundation stone of the water supply scheme in Bhanwal village, he said that for the convenience of the people of Bhanwal village, a water supply scheme will be constructed at a cost of about Rs 70 lakh, which will benefit at least 500 families. He said that the construction of this water supply will be completed within about 6 months. He also visited various villages of Bhoa Assembly constituency, where he first listened to the problems of the people in village Maira Colony and on this occasion he also announced to give an amount of Rs 5 lakh for building a library in the village.
