Lakhwinder, President of Factory Labor Union and Secretary Kalpana, Jagdish, President of Textile Hosiery Workers Union and Sanju, leader of Youth Bharat Sabha, attended the meeting. The leaders said that the organizations will conduct a dense propaganda campaign in the month of April to convey the revolutionary message of the May Day and the invitation of the Labor Day Conference to the broad labor population. Leaflet posters will be printed in thousands. Meetings, corner meetings will be held in different areas. They said that celebrating May Day is not a ritual fulfillment for them. On the first of May, the workers will come together all over the world on the occasion of the International Labor Day, remembering the labor martyrs of Chicago and resolve to advance the struggle of the labor class to free them from slavery at the hands of the capitalist class. The teaching of the International Labor Day is that the liberation of the working class has to come from the hands of the working class itself. The revolutionary heritage of this day inspires the workers to reject the divisions of country, nation, caste, religion, race, etc., unite as a class and intensify the struggle for the abolition of the existing capitalist-imperialist system. The labor leaders said that in the current world conditions, when the capitalist-imperialist plunder has become more intense than any time before, then the importance of International Labor Day increases a lot. He has invited the laborers to celebrate the biggest festival of the laborers with full revolutionary zeal while informing the laborers about the great heritage and teachings of May Day.
