SAS Nagar, March 26 - The team of Inspector Harminder Singh in-charge of CIA staff Mohali camp at Kharar has succeeded in arresting one accused and getting 100 grams of heroin. Giving information in this regard, the spokesperson of the police said that under the supervision of SP Investigation Jyoti Yadav  and DSP Mr. Harsimran Singh, during the operation against the miscreants by the police as per the directions of SSP Dr. Sandeep Kumar Garg. A police party of CIA staff has seized 100 grams of heroin during a cursory check of a young man walking on foot during the blockade near the gate of TDI City on the basis of suspicion.

He said that in this regard a case has been registered against the said person Vikram alias Vicky resident of village Khilchia, district Ferozepur under section 21-61-85 of NDPS Act at police station Balogi. The spokesperson said that during the interrogation, it has come to light that Vikram alias Vicky is about 27 years old and is not married. Vikram aka Vicky has studied up to 5th standard and currently resides on rent at Green Enclave TDI City.

According to the spokesperson, this person used to bring heroin from Ferozepur and supply it in Kharar and Mohali area in the greed of earning money. Cases have been registered against him under the first NDPS Act. He said that this person has been produced in the Hon'ble Court and obtained a 2-day police remand and he is being interrogated as to from whom this heroin comes and to whom he supplies it further so that the supply of drugs The chain can be broken.
