Nawanshahr - The annual fair was celebrated with reverence at the court of Jhiri Baba Shahzada ji of the nearby village of Mubarakpur. In this five-day fair, on the first four days of Nawanshahr, Garhshankar Road, langar was installed for the pilgrims going to Hole Mahalle, in which the whole town served with great enthusiasm. After the recitation of the Ramayana, the ritual of dressing Nishan Sahib in a robe was performed and Holika Dahan was performed in the evening.
