Nawanshahr - Orientation program regarding use of library and digital resources was organized for students at PAU- Agriculture College, Ballowal Sonkhari. Dr. Aarti Sharma and Mr. Amit Kumar, faculty members from Mahendra Singh Randhawa Library, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana specially participated in this program. Dr. Manmohanjit Singh, Dean, PAU- College of Agriculture, Ballowal Sonkhari thanked the guests and said that the purpose of this program is to familiarize them with the resources, services and regulations of the library. He explained the importance of library in student life and motivated and encouraged students to use library.
Dr. Aarti Sharma told the college staff and students about the important role of library in life and proper use of its resources. They asked about using the online services of the library. Informed the students about proper use of e-resources of the library and told about the rules of the library. Amit Kumar imparted special training on digital library to library incharge and college staff. He explained to the students how they can use the digital library to find out which book is where from home. He motivated staff and students to make maximum use of the library's resources.
