
Inspection of Kedri Jail, Hoshiarpur by Hon'ble Justice Alok Jain Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh
Hoshiarpur - Hon'ble Mr. Justice Alok Jain Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh -cum-Administrative Judge Hoshiarpur Sessions Division inspected the Hoshiarpur level courts as well as inspected the Central Jail, Hoshiarpur. Hon'ble District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Hoshiarpur Dilbagh Singh Johal and CJM-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Hoshiarpur Aparajita Joshi were also present on this occasion.
Hoshiarpur - Hon'ble Mr. Justice Alok Jain Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh -cum-Administrative Judge Hoshiarpur Sessions Division inspected the Hoshiarpur level courts as well as inspected the Central Jail, Hoshiarpur. Hon'ble District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Hoshiarpur Dilbagh Singh Johal and CJM-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Hoshiarpur Aparajita Joshi were also present on this occasion.
On this occasion, Hon'ble Mr. Justice Alok Jain, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh went to the barracks inside the jail and heard the problems of the prisoners/detainees and directed the Superintendent Central Jail, Hoshiarpur to solve the problems of the convicts' cases as soon as possible. For this, contact should be made with the courts, police stations and various departments related to the cases so that the accused/detainees can get justice on time. On this occasion, trees were planted inside the jail by Hon. The main purpose of planting trees is that trees are natural resources and the environment is clean with trees and they provide oxygen. Along with this, the prison hospital was inspected and the doctors working in the prison hospital were instructed to take special care of the health of the patients and give medicines from time to time. Apart from this, the women's barracks were inspected. On this occasion, Phulkari training to be given by Rishi Foundation to women in jail was inaugurated. This training will last for one month and after that the women will also be given certificates, so that after coming out of the jail they can support their house in a better way. The food to be prepared was inspected and the cleanliness of the jail was observed, the cleanliness of the bathroom was inspected. On this occasion Hon'ble Mr. Justice Alok Jain Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh gave detailed information about the cases of the accused by the District Legal Services Authority, Hoshiarpur Legal Aid Defense Counsel, Hoshiarpur Chief Vishal Kumar, Deputy Chief Rupika Thakur, Harjinder Kumar Verma. went On this occasion, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Hoshiarpur and Baljit Singh Ghuman, Superintendent Kedri Jail, Amrintpal Singh, Deputy Superintendent, Central Jail, Hoshiarpur and staff of related departments were present. Apart from this, the district level courts were inspected by Hon'ble Mr. Justice Alok Jain, Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh.
