
No deficiency is being left in providing clean drinking water to the city dwellers - Brahm Shankar Gimpa
Hoshiarpur - Cabinet Minister Brahm Shankar Jimpa said that no shortage is being left to deliver clean water to the residents of Hoshiarpur and drinking water tube wells are being installed there as per the demand of the ward. He was addressing the residents of the area while inaugurating the tubewell construction work at Mohalla Shalimar Nagar of Ward No. 7 today.
Hoshiarpur - Cabinet Minister Brahm Shankar Jimpa said that no shortage is being left to deliver clean water to the residents of Hoshiarpur and drinking water tube wells are being installed there as per the demand of the ward. He was addressing the residents of the area while inaugurating the tubewell construction work at Mohalla Shalimar Nagar of Ward No. 7 today. Meanwhile, Mayor Surinder Kumar, Senior Deputy Mayor Praveen Saini and Deputy Mayor Ranjit Chaudhary were also present with him. The Cabinet Minister said that a tubewell is being installed in the ward at a cost of Rs 30 lakh. Its bore has been made 700 feet deep to reach people with clean drinking water. He said that the process of construction of this tubewell is being implemented by the Public Health Department in collaboration with the Municipal Corporation. He thanked Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, under whose guidance all the pending works in the state have been completed on priority basis. He assured the residents of the area that every problem in the area will be solved on priority basis. Brahm Shankar Jimpa appealed to the city residents to use water sparingly and not waste it. He said that keeping the city clean is also our main priority, so with the support of the city residents, the city will soon be made dump free. Devinder Kumar Khullar, Brij Sharma, Varinder Khullar, Ravinder Walia, Balbir Singh, Captain Darshan Singh, Vinod Sharma, Kewal Singh, Brij Mohan Sharma, Manish Gupta, Darshan Kaushal, Manoj Kumar and other dignitaries were also present on this occasion.
