13-03-2024:- We deeply mourn the passing of Vivek Thakur, 29yr who was an employee of the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER). He was found hanged in his residence at the PGI campus on 13 March 2024 and was rushed to emergency, Sec -16, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Vivek Thakur was a junior store keeper in the department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at PGIMER since December 2023. Prior to this, he had been working as an LDC (Lower Division Clerk) at PGI.
