kharar October 19 - Since Gharun sub tehsil was merged with Kharar for the past few days, MLA of Chamkaur Sahib Constituency Dr. Charanjit Singh has said that the work of Registries in Gharun sub tehsil will start soon. In the statement issued here, he said that he has spoken to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Finance Minister Brahm Shankar Jipa regarding this. He said that the order to merge sub tehsil Gharun was also given during the tenure of the previous Congress government.
He said that seeing the demand of the area, sub-tehsil Gharun will not be allowed to be broken and the issue of villages adjoining Kharar will also be resolved so that people do not face any problem.
