Chandigarh: On the eve of Shivratri and Women's Day, a festival of lights was organized at Anand Niketan 1008, the service center of Brahma Kumaris, Sector 46B. Due to its grandeur, local people reached the service center to celebrate Shivratri and Women's Day.
The chief guests and dignitaries were welcomed in the traditional manner by the Seva Kendra.
On this occasion, Ms. Deepa Dubey, an advocate of Supreme Court of India, member of Chandigarh Police Advisory Committee and President of Chandigarh Mahila Congress, was present as the chief guest along with Ms. Deepti Bhatnagar, Inspector of Central Industrial Security Force, Government of India. Ms. Deepti Dubey has the honor of fighting approximately 5000 cases against atrocities against women in 20 years for the empowerment of women.
Women's Day started with lighting of the lamp followed by a presentation by children. Master Mevan, who follows Sister Shivani, expressed his views on the topic of Compassion.
All the guests expressed their views about the upliftment of women.
BK Shivani, while making the women power present aware about the daily decline of character and values in the society, said that to become empowered in the society, it is mandatory for women to adopt divine values and values so that through spiritual empowerment, the Supreme Father Supreme Lord Shiva can transform the universe. The resolution can be realized immediately.
In order to empower women, BK Poonam, in-charge of the service center, called upon the women present on today's Shivratri festival to donate their shortcomings in the form of anger and Dhatura on Women's Day and to the Brahma Kumaris Divine University formed by the Supreme Father Almighty through Brahma. Informed everyone about empowerment objectives and told that Shivratri and Women's Day happening on the same day is also a message of time.
The guests waved the Shiva flag along with the sisters and spread enthusiasm among everyone.
