Una, March 9- Bande Bharat Bus Service has been started to connect the people of Himachal Pradesh with the facility of railway connectivity. Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said this after flagging off the Bande Bharat bus service from Amb-Andora railway station. He said that Bande Bharat Bus Service will prove to be important in connecting the people of Una district as well as neighboring district Kangra with railway connectivity.

Una, March 9- Bande Bharat Bus Service has been started to connect the people of Himachal Pradesh with the facility of railway connectivity. Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said this after flagging off the Bande Bharat bus service from Amb-Andora railway station. He said that Bande Bharat Bus Service will prove to be important in connecting the people of Una district as well as neighboring district Kangra with railway connectivity. He said that this is the first hi-tech Volvo Deluxe Bus Service which is being run through tourism. He told that this bus will leave from Palampur at 8 am and will reach Amb-Andora railway station at 11 am via Nagrota, Kangra and Dehra. He said that the passengers coming by Bande Bharat train to Zoki Dehra, Kangra Nagrota Palampur will return to their destinations through this bus service.
Mukesh Agnihotri said that people will continuously get the facility of Bande Bharat Bus Service. Tourism in Himachal Pradesh will also be promoted through this bus service. He said that the running of this bus service will provide a lot of convenience to the people of Kangra district. This bus service will prove to be very beneficial for the people of Kangra district to travel by Vande Bharat train. He said that earlier the people of Kangra district had to reach Amb by taking a private vehicle or taxi to catch the Vande Bharat train. But now people will get a lot of benefit from the running of this bus. This will save both money and time of the people and will also boost the tourism sector.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that to promote tourism in Himachal Pradesh, every effort is being made to lay a network of buses in a systematic manner. He said that for the convenience of the people, railway stations, hospitals, airports and religious tourist places are being connected through bus routes. He said that in this series, bus services have also been run from Chintpurni to Khattusham, Hamirpur to Vrindavan and Hamirpur to Ayodhya. HRTC bus service from Una and Shimla to Ayodhya will be started soon. He said that apart from this, work is also being done to connect the religious places of other neighboring states through bus service so that tourism can be promoted and people can easily reach the religious places as well as their destinations.
