Navjot Singh Sidhu raised questions about liquor policy, electricity and mining

Patiala, March 4 - Senior Congress leader and former Punjab President Navjot Singh Sidhu held a press conference here this evening once again shaking the Punjab government and raising questions on the state government's liquor policy, electricity and mining. On the issue of electricity, he said that the 'AAP' government of Punjab has given free electricity to people by taking loans, the burden of which has fallen on the coming generation.

Due to which the youth of Punjab are moving towards foreign countries considering their future as insecure. Today in the Vidhan Sabha, questions were raised on the claim of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to hold a meeting with the farmers till 2 am, what was the outcome of the meeting. Speaking about the language used in the assembly session regarding the commotion, Sidhu said that there has been a reaction to the action. As a Chief Minister, it is not right at all to go and talk to children, these things have nothing to do with common people, so such behavior is not right. The people have elected these people for rule of law and development, which is not discussed. The policy of personal attack is not correct. He said that Bhagwant Mann has tried to promote contract farming through MSP. There is talk of bringing only five crops under MSP whereas Swaminathan's report should have been implemented. If it had been implemented, he would have been considered as the future Chief Minister. He said that the claims of giving the sand trolley for Rs 2000 have completely failed and the price is many times higher.
