SAS Nagar, March 1 - Balongi police have arrested two persons in the case of motorcycle theft. Giving information in this regard, ASI Angrej Singh of Balongi police station said that the police received a tip-off on February 25 that a person was riding on a Hero Splendor motorcycle without a number plate in Barmajara, after which the police arrested Sanjot Singh alias Jot. The named person was caught with a stolen motorcycle and a case under section 379, 411 of the IPC has been registered against him.

He said that the police produced this person in the honorable court and obtained his remand and during the remand interrogation, it was found that another of his accomplices is Arun Kumar, a resident of Mandi Himachal, who was identified as the accused and a motorcycle from Green Enclave Dau. He said that later both of them were remanded by the police, during which they said that they have another accomplice. He said that more revelations are likely to be made during the inquiry. He said that the police is still searching for his accomplice and he will be arrested soon.
