Mahilpur, (March 1) - Doaba Social Welfare Society Mahilpur carried out a work of charity by giving necessary items on the occasion of the marriage of two economically weak families of village Rampur Sainia and Kangar village.
On this occasion, society president Mohan Singh, secretary Sukhchain Singh, Mulraj, Surjit Singh, Gurdeep Singh Sangha, Surinder Pal Dhanda, Dr. Parminder Singh, Sumet society members and supporters were present in large numbers. While talking, the president of the society, Mohan Singh, said that the society has been providing financial support to the families by providing necessary household goods on the occasion of marriage of girls from economically weak families for a long time. He said that every person should take tithe from his labor earnings and spend it on helping the needy. He said that Doaba Social Welfare Society is supported by donors from time to time. Along with this, society members and supporters associated with the society also continue to contribute every month. Due to which these activities have been going on continuously for a long time.
