Speaking on the occasion, the constituency MLA said that under this project, wherever the pond is to be cleaned, a walking track will be made around it and saplings will be planted. The water falling into this pond will also be produced in it only after treatment. He said that the long-standing demand of Sohana residents has been fulfilled with the commencement of this project. He said that the process to release the illegal encroachments on the site of the pond will continue. He said that the people's support is also needed to complete this work because when the government implements a scheme, the people should also take responsibility for its maintenance and without the people's support, any scheme would fail properly. The Constituency MLA said that he said that the problem faced by the residents of Sohana due to random electric wires will also be solved very soon. He said that efforts are being made on a large scale by the government to raise the standard of living of the people of the state. Under this, the Punjab government is solving people's issues by setting up special camps to provide government services close to people's homes without any hassle.
