Chandigarh February 27, 2024:- Centre for Public Health and Dr.Harvansh Singh Judge Institute of Dental Science organised a dental camp followed by a health talk on “Healthy Food for Healthy Teeth” and “ Sparkling Smiles- the Magic of Toothbrushing” held on Tuesday, 27.02.2024 at Government Model High School, sector 25, Chandigarh under the guidance and direction of Dr.KomalSehgal, Coordinator, Centre for Public Health,Dr. Manoj Kumar, Assistant Professor, Centre for Public Health and assisted by interns Ms.Parul, Ms.Padma Chozen, Mr.Rajat Grover, Mr.Pratik Singh, Ms.Rashmi and Ms.Yudhanshifrom Dr.Harvansh Singh Judge Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital. The guest of honour was Professor Dr. Amarjit Singh Naura, Department of Biotechnology, Panjab University and President of Panjab University Teachers' Association. The students of class 4 and 5 attended the talks which were delivered by Dr. Mrinalima Chopra and Dr. Priyanka Seonie, MPH 2nd Year students. An interactive session was held for the students along with a live demonstration on proper tooth brushing techniques. The students were given a general oral checkup. It was an interactive and informative session which concluded with an oath to maintain good oral hygiene by the students.
