Una, February 20 - Evacuation drills/IEC activities will be organized on Disaster Awareness Day on April 4, marking the anniversary of the 1905 earthquake in Kangra. Giving this information, District Disaster Management Authority Chairman and Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal said that on April 4, at 11 am, mock drills and evacuation drills will be conducted in government offices and colleges of the district as well as in all government and private educational institutions and principals/institutions. Lectures and awareness programs will be organized by the Head of the Department on Do's and Don'ts during/before and after the earthquake so that future natural disasters can be dealt with.
