Una, February 8 - Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said that today a project is being started in Haroli assembly constituency, the flame of which was lit from Panjawar village and its light spread across the country. Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said this after laying the foundation stone of Mian Hiran Singh Cooperative Training Institute and Community Center, the father of cooperation, in Panjawar on Thursday.

Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said this after laying the foundation stone of Mian Hiran Singh Cooperative Training Institute and Community Center, the father of cooperation, in Panjawar on Thursday. He said that after 132 years, we are remembering Mian Hira Singh ji, the father of the cooperative movement, who laid the foundation of cooperation in the entire country. He said that at present cooperative societies are working on a large scale in the states of Gujarat and Maharashtra. In these states, cooperation is considered the number one department. He said that the cooperative movement started from Panjawar and spread all over. But the first co-operative society was registered in Tamil Nadu in 1904 and the people there believe that co-operation started from here only. The Deputy Chief Minister said that cooperation in true sense started from Panjawar village of Haroli. He said that the foundation stone of Mian Hira Singh Cooperative Training Institute and Community Center in Panjawar has been laid today, which will prove to be a milestone in the future. He thanked the people for donating land to this cooperative institution. He assured the people of Panjawar that they will be able to use this cooperative property as per their convenience. Apart from this, Baba Bal Puri Temple and common people will be able to use it as per their convenience.
Cooperation will be given impetus in the state
The Deputy Chief Minister said that in the past, people associated with cooperatives were looked upon with respect, but gradually with time people started moving away from cooperatives. But now the cooperative movement will be given impetus in the state. He said that cooperative societies are a symbol of the credibility of the people and are doing better work in the cooperative sector and are providing facilities as well as employment to many people. He said that those who play with cooperative societies will not be spared. He said that the audit of cooperative societies will also be conducted properly. Some cooperative societies of the state have earned name in the country, which also includes Bhutti Weaver Society of Kullu. He said that the shawls and tops of Bhutti Weaver Society of Kullu are famous in the entire country. Along with this, Kangra, Shimla and Jogindra banks are being operated from the cooperative sector and are doing better work.
Himcaps College of Badhera is being run from the cooperative sector.
He said that Himcaps College in Badhera of Una district is being run in the cooperative sector only. He said that 106 cooperative societies of the district together established this institute which has now emerged with a huge size. The children coming out of this institute are providing services in prestigious medical institutions and courts of the country. He told that Swan Women Federation has been formed in the district from the cooperative sector itself, in which currently 14 thousand women are associated with this society. He said that Una district is continuously progressing in the field of cooperation.
Rs 1300 crores spent on coastalization
Revolutionary changes in Haroli Halke in the last two decades
The Deputy Chief Minister said that Rs 1300 crore has been spent for coastalization. He said that it is everyone's moral responsibility to protect the Swan River. Mukesh Agnihotri said that there has been a revolutionary change in Haroli Vis area in the last two-two and a half decades. All this has been possible only with the cooperation of the people of Haroli Vis area. He said that in the coming time, Haroli will emerge as the number one assembly constituency of the country. He said that all the works related to basic amenities of the people like roads, education, water, health etc. are being done on priority basis in the assembly constituency.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that various developmental works have been done in Haroli which include triple IT, three degree colleges, two ITIs, center school and industrial area. A grand auditorium equipped with modern facilities has been built in Palakwah on the lines of Chandigarh. He said that park, pond, rain shelter and open air gym have been built in Haroli Halke. He said that the Haroli-Rampur bridge, the longest in the state, has been made grand. Here, ponds for drinking water, solar lights and cameras have also been installed for security.
Lord Ram is worshiped by everyone, unwavering faith in temples.
Mukesh Agnihotri said that Lord Ram is our idol. A grand temple of Shitala Mata is being built in Ispur at a cost of Rs 1 crore. Apart from this, a grand temple of Mata Shri Chintpurni ji will also be built, the foundation stone of which will be laid soon. He said that for the convenience of the devotees, LED screens have been installed from Mubarikpur to Chintuparni. For the convenience of the devotees, water scheme and sewerage scheme have also been prepared in Mata Shri Chintpurni Temple. He said that ropeway is being constructed at Mata Shri Chintpurni Temple at a cost of Rs 75 crore. For the convenience of the devotees, the facility of conducting online Jagran, Havan and Yagya has also been made available.
He said that he has unwavering faith in temples. Rs 25 lakh has been provided for Baba Bal Ji Maharaj Ashram, Rs 50 lakh for Guru Ravidas Temple in Bhadsali and Rs 25 lakh for Banode Mahadev so that the devotees coming here can get adequate facilities.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that one thousand crore rupees are being spent on water schemes in the district so that every house can get water and every farm can get irrigation facility. He said that Rs 14 crore is being spent on the construction of Pandoga-Panjawar road to provide better transport facilities to the people.
Buses will run on various routes under Darshan Seva
Mukesh Agnihotri said that religious places of the state as well as other states are being connected for the darshan service system. He said that 50 buses for Haridwar and 6 for Ayodhya are being run under the Darshan Seva system. Buses have been run from Chintpurni to Khatu Shyam and Hamirpur to Vrindavan. Apart from this, buses will also be run for Vyas, Golden Temple and Bagha Border.
He said that Haroli has taken the lead in fighting against drug abuse and illegal mining in the area. He said that people involved in drugs and illegal mining will not be spared.
Inauguration and foundation stone laying of about Rs 21 crore
Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri laid the foundation stone and inaugurated various developmental schemes worth about Rs 21 crore under Haroli assembly constituency on Thursday. The Deputy Chief Minister said the domestic drainage system to be built for Mohalla Taliya in Ward No. 7 of Lower Pandoga at a cost of about Rs 1 crore, flood control work for the protection of Harijan settlement in Khad village at a cost of Rs 6.16 crore, Rs 60 lakh. Irrigation tube wells to be built for Mohalla Chakka of Khad, Mian Heera Singh State Cooperative Training Center and Community Center to be built near Baba Bal Puri Temple in Panjawar at a cost of about Rs 5 crore, Gram Panchayat Heera ke Thada worth Rs 60 lakh. Irrigation tube well Baliyal built at a cost of Rs 3.50 crore, upgradation work of Laluwal to Gondpur Jaichand road at a cost of Rs 3.50 crore and bhoomi pujan of upgradation work of Tahliwal to Bathri road at a cost of Rs 3.50 crore and newly constructed Gram Panchayat in Dulaihar at a cost of Rs 25 lakh. Inaugurated Rajiv Seva Kendra.
Director State Cooperative Bank Keshav Nayak welcomed the Deputy Chief Minister and provided information about the activities of the cooperative.
