Mahilpur, (February 3) - Today at Mata Kalyani Temple Khanni located on the Mahilpur-Jejo Doaba main road, the Mata Kalyani Welfare Society conducted a meritorious work by marrying girls from economically weaker families like every year.
On this occasion, Committee President Tilak Raj Khanni, Vice President Ram Labhaya, Rajesh Kumar Raja, Harbhajan Lal, Shivcharan, Baldev Singh, Captain Shashi Kumar, Captain Pawanjit, Buta Ram, Shiv Kumar along with committee members from village Khanni and people of nearby villages. A large number were present. Speaking on this occasion, Committee President Tilak Raj Khanni said that today the girls were given household items in these marriages. He said that the recitation of Shri Madhya Bhagwat Katha, which has been going on for the past few days, was concluded today at the temple on February 4. Vishal Bhandara will be held.
