Narendra Kumar told that National Girl Child Day is celebrated every year on 24 January in India. The purpose of celebrating National Girl Child Day is to make girls aware of their rights. He said that our country is progressing very fast. Today India has moved on the path from a developing country to a developed country. The daughters of the country have a stake in almost every field, but there are still many families who do not want to give birth to daughters, so they kill them in the womb. The biggest objective behind celebrating Girls' Day in the country is to provide support and different types of opportunities to girls. The importance of National Girl Child Day is very high, it is to make girls aware about education, health and employment.
Apart from this, the aim is also to make everyone aware about the discrimination against girls. The school principal also made the girls aware about various welfare schemes being run by the education department. On this occasion, saplings were also planted by the girls in the school.
Under the programme, poster making and slogan writing competitions were conducted for the girls and the winners were also rewarded.
On this occasion, school staff and children including CDPO Kuldeep Singh, Isha, Rekha, Manzoor, Naveen and Rohit were present.
