In a statement issued here, while welcoming the caps imposed by the Punjab government for registration of transfers, he said that due to non-settlement of land partition cases, disputes are increasing among people and these disputes can be stopped by settling the partition. . He said that the settlement of the parties who disagree for the partition can be done by adding the value of the land to the government. He said that the death records of many Khevatdars are not even available and many people cannot pursue such cases as they live in foreign countries. He said that there are many cases in which consensus is not possible due to the large number of Khevatdars, so the government should give special powers to Tehsildars and all divisional magistrates to settle these cases. They demanded from the Chief Minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Singh Mann, that the matters of Taksim should be dealt with on the basis of priority and special powers should be given to the concerned officials.
