On this occasion, Chairman of the society Mr. KK Saini said that in today's time society should celebrate the Lohri of girls together. He said that for the advancement of girls, they should be taught, encouraged to acquire technical education. He said that education of girls is very important to end the practice of dowry in the society.

On this occasion, the society gave red chunnys and other gifts to the girls and distributed Peanuts, riudis and gachka etc. President Sanjeev Ravra, teacher Simran, Shagan, Megha Karen were also present on this occasion.
