Patiala, January 11 - A meeting of the District Level RCET Advisory Committee was held under the chairmanship of Patiala Additional Deputy Commissioner Anuprita Johal, during which there was a discussion on skilling the youth as per the requirement of the industries of the district.

During the meeting, Anuprita Johal instructed to conduct a program related to fast food in collaboration with District Employment Office and NRLM at Shermajara Village under Self Employment Program of RCET. On this occasion, during the year 2024-25, he directed 1120 youths to be self-employed by giving training through RCET. On this occasion, he also released the plan of NABARD for the year 2024-25.
Anuprita Johal ordered the heads of the departments that maximum publicity should be done regarding the schemes being run by RSET. Apart from this, he said that the District Employment and Business Bureau located at the District Administrative Complex is also working continuously for employment and self-employment.
SDR Punjab Charanjit Singh, Director RCT Vinod Kumar, Lead Ban Manager Davinder Kumar, AGM NABARD Parwinder Kaur Nagra, Reena Rani, Balwinder Singh, Kanwalpuneet Kaur were also present in the meeting.
