Fighters will be able to buy Chief Minister's gifts at the International Geeta Mahotsav

Chandigarh, December 11 - Haryana Chief Minister's OSD, Mr. Bhupeshwar Dayal, said that in the International Gita Mahotsav-2023 organized at Kurukshetra, any soldier will be able to buy the gifts of the Chief Minister at the prescribed prices. In this festival, for the first time, the gifts received by the Chief Minister in various programs will be kept at stall number 13 and 14 of Sars Mela. For this, the stalls will be decorated with colorful lights. These stalls will also be the center of attraction in the Saras Mela.

In this festival, for the first time, the gifts received by the Chief Minister in various programs will be kept at stall number 13 and 14 of Sars Mela. For this, the stalls will be decorated with colorful lights. These stalls will also be the center of attraction in the Saras Mela.

           He said that whatever money will be received from the sale of the Chief Minister's gifts, that money will be spent on the Chief Minister's Relief Fund as well as other public welfare schemes of the government. This will benefit the general public. This stall will be decorated in a special design to decorate these gifts. For this, artisans are working day and night. This stall will soon be set up and the Chief Minister's gifts will be sold to beautify the homes of the common people. He said that Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal had started the Chief Minister Upahar Yojana for social welfare. Under this scheme, in the first phase of this year in the month of January, people had supported 1 crore 14 lakh 95 thousand rupees for 51 gifts. This amount was deposited in the Chief Minister's Relief Fund to be used for social welfare. Now the gifts included in the same gift scheme have been decorated in the craft fair held at Brahmasarovar ghat.

           The OSD further said that since 2014, the Gita Mahotsav has received international status and is being attended by lakhs of people every year. The state government is organizing Gita Mahotsavs abroad to spread the message of Gita to the world. So far, the participation of people in the international Gita Mahotsav organized in Canada, Australia, England and Mauritius has been good.

           He said that in the same way lakhs of people reach every year in the Craft and Saras Mela held at the International Gita Mahotsav in Gita Sthali Kurukshetra.
