Speaking after distributing the prizes to the winning teams during the cricket tournament organized by the Youth Services Club (Reg.) at village Machali Kalan, Mr. Sharma said that sports inculcate moral qualities in us like tolerance, unity, mutual love, morality, desire to win. etc. He said that most sports are played with team spirit due to which discipline is created in the life of the player and this discipline is beneficial at every stage of life. He said that because of sports, the thinking of the youth is positive and positive thinking plays a very important role in keeping the youth away from drugs.
A total of 32 teams participated in the tournament and in the final match, the team of Ghadam Kalan defeated the team of Sahnewal during the stalemate. The winning team Gharam Kalan was awarded Rs 31000 while the runner-up Sahnewal's team was awarded Rs 21000 and a memento by the organizers. During the tournament, Guri Kakon was selected as the Man of the Series and Happy Sahnewal was selected as the Best Player.
