A grant of 40 lakh rupees was given by Deputy Speaker Rowdy to the Panchayat of village Rampur

Garhshankar January 7: Deputy Speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha Jai Krishna Singh Rowdy said that the Punjab government is working on a war footing to provide basic facilities in the villages as well as to fulfill every small and big need here. A grant of 40 lakh rupees was given to the village Rampur Panchayat under Garhshankar Vidhan Sabha constituency.

Garhshankar January 7: Deputy Speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha Jai Krishna Singh Rowdy said that the Punjab government is working on a war footing to provide basic facilities in the villages as well as to fulfill every small and big need here. A grant of 40 lakh rupees was given to the village Rampur Panchayat under Garhshankar Vidhan Sabha constituency. A check of 20 lakh rupees given to the panchayat as the first installment of the grant was presented to the village panchayat in the presence of the villagers.
 
  He said that a grant of Rs 40 lakh each has been approved for building panchayat houses in these different villages and today he presented the first installment of a total grant of Rs 1 crore to these villages. Meanwhile, Madam BDPO Manjinder Kaur from Garhshankar was also present with him and the Deputy Speaker also listened to the problems of the villagers and instructed the concerned officials to solve these problems as soon as possible.
The village panchayat talked to the Deputy Speaker Jai Krishna Rowdy and said that the high school of our village should be made a senior secondary school up to the twelfth standard. So that the children of the village who go far away for their education can make the name of the village and their parents shine by getting good education from the school built in the village. And also they said that the condition of the road from Garhshankar via Rampur (Bilro) to village Satnor is very deplorable and the road should be constructed as soon as possible. So that the passers-by can get relief from the problem of coming and going
