Una, January 6 - A meeting was organized at the district headquarters Una for the nodal officers appointed in Una district for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Nodal officers appointed for various tasks and responsibilities during the Lok Sabha elections 2024 participated in this meeting organized under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner Una Mahendra Pal Gurjar.
On this occasion, the Additional Deputy Commissioner gave detailed information about various responsibilities related to all the nodal officers and gave necessary guidelines. He directed that all officers should take every election related work seriously and execute all election related orders, tasks and activities within the stipulated time period. He said that all the officers in election duty need to work with honesty, fairness and transparency so that the credibility of the common man remains intact in this great festival of democracy. In the meeting, discussions were held to ensure 100% compliance of the Model Code of Conduct during the Lok Sabha elections 2024, manpower required for election duties, excellent transport management during elections, media authentication and monitoring committee, grievance redressal system related to the Model Code of Conduct, voting system. A detailed discussion was held on various topics including facilities provided to disabled voters and law and order and necessary and important guidelines were given to the concerned nodal officers.
Additional Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Bhatia, Assistant Commissioner of State Tax and Excise Department Navneet Gupta, Joint Director of Industries Department Anshul Dhiman, Project Officer DRDA Shefali Sharma, District Revenue Officer Ajay Kumar Singh, District Panchayat Officer Shravan Kashyap, Regional Manager HRTC Suresh were present in the meeting. Dhiman, District Welfare Officer Anita Sharma, DPO (ICDS) Narendra Kumar, District Informatics Officer Sanjeev Kumar, Tehsildar Hussan Chand and many other officers and employees were also present.
