Patiala, January 5 - According to the instructions of the Election Commission of India, training was given to EROs regarding EVM and VVPAT machines today under the leadership of District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sahni. This training was conducted by SDM Patdar Navdeep Kumar.
Additional Electoral Officer cum Additional Deputy Commissioner Anupreeta Johal, SDMs-cum-EROs Dr. Ismat Vijay Singh, Charanjit Singh, Kripalveer Singh, Tarsem Chand, Jasleen Kaur Bhullar, Assistant Commissioner Kanu Garg and Assistant Commissioner Municipal Corporation Babandeep Singh Walia were present in the training. .
The purpose of this training was to ensure strict compliance with the instructions of the Election Commission of India during the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and to provide information regarding the use and maintenance of EVM and VVPAT machines during the entire election process. On this occasion, the officers were given detailed information regarding the use of EVM, VVPAT machine, precautions to be taken on the day of polling and the procedure to be taken on the day of counting.
During the training, the District Election Officer Sakshi Sahni instructed the officers present to get detailed training on every aspect to run the entire election process smoothly on the occasion of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
