Patiala, December 30 - On the orders of Deputy Commissioner-cum-Commissioner Municipal Corporation Sakshi Sahni, the anti-rabies vaccination campaign started in different areas of the city by the health department of Patiala Municipal Corporation is going on in full swing. Giving this information, Joint Commissioner Babandeep Singh Walia said that in the areas where dogs were reported to have rabies, samples of three suspected dogs were taken and tested, the report of which was found to be negative.
Babandeep Singh Walia said that in the past Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sahni had ordered the health department of the municipal corporation to start anti-rabies vaccination campaign in different areas of the city keeping in mind the safety of the city residents. Under which, on Saturday, the health team of the Municipal Corporation has conducted an anti-rabies vaccination campaign in the areas of Shaheed Udham Singh Nagar, Sirhind Road, Model Town and State College with the support of Animal Husbandry Department.
