Democratic Teachers Front (DTF) State President Vikram Dev Singh, General Secretary Mukesh Kumar, Finance Secretary Ashwani Awasthi, District President Sukhdev Dansiwal and District Secretary Indersukhdeep Singh Odra have conducted their education on scientific lines according to the cultural, social and linguistic conditions of Punjab. Instead of formulating a policy, the AAP government has strongly condemned the move towards the implementation of the national education policy in favor of privatisation, centralization and deification in Punjab. The leaders said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had assured the organization not to implement the education policy of the Modi government during a meeting at Phagwara on May 4 this year, but now steps are being taken in the opposite direction, which There will be strong opposition. The leaders said that the main topic and sub-topics of the booklet being prepared by SCERT are completely in favor of the National Education Policy-2020, which indicates that the Punjab government is moving towards forcing the same education policy on the people of Punjab. It is clearly visible.
Apart from this, through a provincial seminar organized by the Punjab School Education Board between December 18 and 22, the process of changing the books according to the central education policy is also against the logic and discretion of the central government through NCERT (National Council of Educational Research and Training). The path of anti-syllabus changes is an unfortunate retroactive decision. The Democratic Teachers Front advised the Punjab government to refrain from implementing the Centre's Education Policy-2020, to unite all the democratic parts of Punjab on this issue and to make education a part of the state list instead of the concurrent list and new education. By bringing a resolution to cancel it in the Vidhan Sabha, he has invited to continue the struggle for the demand of formulating its own education policy of Punjab.
