
Committees formed for General Lok Sabha Elections-2024
Una, December 29: District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Raghav Sharma have formed committees at the district level for the successful conduct of the General Lok Sabha Elections-2024. He said that the Additional Deputy Commissioner will be the coordinator of the district level complaint monitoring committee formed to register complaints in the Lok Sabha elections.
Una, December 29: District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Raghav Sharma have formed committees at the district level for the successful conduct of the General Lok Sabha Elections-2024. He said that the Additional Deputy Commissioner will be the coordinator of the district level complaint monitoring committee formed to register complaints in the Lok Sabha elections. Whereas the Project Officer, District Rural Development Agency and District Treasurer will be the members of the committee.
Apart from this, a District Level Expenditure Monitoring Committee has been formed to monitor the expenditure incurred by the candidates participating in the General Lok Sabha Elections 2024. The chairman of the committee will be the District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner. Whereas the expenditure observer of the Election Commission of India will be in charge of the assembly. He informed that the Additional Deputy Commissioner will be the nodal officer in charge of the Expenditure Monitoring Cell.
Media Certification and Monitoring Committee has been constituted to monitor the information exchanged by political parties and candidates for election campaign. The District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner will be the chairpersons of the committee. Apart from this, SDM Sadar Una will be the member and District Information Officer, NIC Una will be the mediator/social media expert. While District Public Relations Officer will be the Member Secretary and Rajesh Sharma, Journalist will be the Tribune Committee member.
