
Safar-e-Shahadat event was celebrated with full devotion at Gurdwara Singh Shaheed
SAS Nagar, December 27 - Safar-e-Shahadat event was celebrated with full devotion in the memory of Sarbansdani Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji, Char Sahibjade, Mata Gujar Kaur ji and all the martyrs at the historic Gurdwara Singh Shaheedan of nearby village Sohana.
SAS Nagar, December 27 - Safar-e-Shahadat event was celebrated with full devotion in the memory of Sarbansdani Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji, Char Sahibjade, Mata Gujar Kaur ji and all the martyrs at the historic Gurdwara Singh Shaheedan of nearby village Sohana.
On this morning, in the memory of all the martyrs, after the feast of Sri Sahaj Path Sahib, a Gurmat event was organized throughout the day. In this Gurmati event, Bhai Gursevak Singh's International Dhadi Jatha informed the Sangat about the incredible martyrdom of Sarbansdani Sri Gobind Singh Ji at a young age for the sake of religion. Bhai Balbir Singh Hazuri Ragi Sri Darbar Sahib ji Amritsar people made an effort to connect the devotees with the Guru by ravishing them with divine chants. Bhai Amandeep Singh Ludhiana people through their lectures recited detailed literature about the Marjeevade Singhs who got martyrdom by cutting with saws, thrashing on wheels, cutting off their heads and taking off their skulls for the protection of religion during the Mughal rule.
Apart from this, Bhai Sandeep Singh Shiromani Pracharak, Shere Punjab Kavishari Jatha, Baba Deep Singh Kavishari Jatha, Bhai Gurdeep Singh Abohar Wale, Harjas Kirtani Jatha, Bhai Dharam Singh Mahi, Akal Kavishari Jatha and Bibi Uttamjit Kaur apart from Gurdwara Singh Shaheeds. Hazuri Jathea Bhai Inderjit Singh, Bhai Gurmeet Singh, Bhai Sukhwinder Singh and Bhai Jaswant Singh enthralled the Sangats by reciting Hari Jas throughout the day through Katha, Kirtan, Kavishri and Gurmati views. Guru Ka Langar was served throughout the day.
