Giving this information, District Revenue Officer Arvind Prakash Verma said that the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India has also published gazette notifications on different dates regarding the land being acquired in the villages under the alignment of these two projects. has been done, after which the District Revenue Officer-cum-Competent Officer Bho Prakthi, Hoshiarpur has also awarded these villages under Section 3 (g) of the National Highway Act 1956.
He said that at present the process is going on to compensate the land owners who come under the alignment of these projects and files have been prepared by many land owners, after which the compensation due to them has also been paid. . However, many land owners are not preparing the files to the office of the District Revenue Officer, Hoshiarpur to get the compensation for their acquired land, due to which they are not getting the compensation due and are facing difficulty in getting possession of the land. has been
He said that in this regard, special camps are being organized from December 26, 2023 in the villages coming under the pro-alignment of these two projects, according to which a camp was organized at village Atalgarh on December 26.
