Patiala, December 25 - Additional District Magistrate-cum-Additional Deputy Commissioner Anuprita Johal has appealed to the residents of Patiala district to follow the instructions issued by the Director Health and Family Welfare Department to protect against the new variant JN1 of Covid-19. And necessary precautions should be taken including wearing masks in crowded places.
In the ongoing appeal, mentioning the new variant of Covid-19 JN1 in some states of the country, it has been said that it is necessary to strictly follow the appropriate Covid behavior and it is preferred to wear a mask while going to crowded places and sitting nearby. go Doctors, paramedics and other health care workers should follow appropriate Covid-19 etiquette while examining patients. Apart from this, the patients and their accompanying members should ensure to follow the rules of prevention against Covid as a precaution. The advisory says that when coughing and sneezing, cover your nose and mouth with a handkerchief or tissue and after a while wash your hands thoroughly with soap. If there is fever, cough or difficulty in breathing, consult a doctor immediately and cover your mouth and nose with a mask even while going to the doctor.
