Earlier, a portrait prepared by writer, heritage promoter and nature artist Harpreet Sandhu was handed over to the Honorable Deputy Commissioner. In the meeting held during this, while giving instructions regarding the preparation of the brochure, the Deputy Commissioner said that the natural beauty of all the areas falling in the district should be shown in the brochure. Apart from this, the house building of Shaheed-e-Azam s Bhagat Singh ji located at village Khatkar Kalan should also be shown, so that information regarding this can be conveyed to everyone. He said that the brochure should also provide information about historical and religious places in the district. First the basic outline for its preparation should be prepared and later it should be given the final form. Assistant Commissioner (c) Gurleen Kaur, Punjab Good Governance Fellow Sanjana Saxena and other officials were also present on this occasion.
