Hoshiarpur - Cabinet Minister Punjab Brahm Shankar Jimpa said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann is working for the welfare and progress of all sections of the society following the path shown by the Constitution maker Dr BR Ambedkar. He was addressing reporters while inaugurating the renovation work of Bharat Ratna Dr BR Ambedkar Bhavan Ram Colony Camp. Meanwhile, Mayor Surinder Kumar, Senior Deputy Mayor Praveen Saini and Deputy Mayor Ranjit Chaudhary were also present with him.
The Cabinet Minister said that the building is being renovated at a cost of Rs 30 lakh. He said that the Chief Minister of Punjab has taken up the responsibility of renovating the buildings of all the departments of the state, so that the people can get a good environment in the government offices. He said that Bharat Ratna Dr. Ambedkar gave such a constitution to the country, due to which India has established itself as a strong democracy and created its own unique identity in the whole world. He gave uniform rights to all sections of the country through the constitution.
Brahm Shankar Jimpa said that today it is the need of the hour to follow the teachings of Constitution maker Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. He said that we should always work for social equality by taking this great personality of the country as our ideal. He said that it is everyone's responsibility to fulfill our responsibility towards the society while being aware of all the rights. On this occasion, Axion Public Works Department Rajiv Saini, District Social Justice and Empowerment Officer Rajinder Singh, Councilor Jaspal Singh Chechi and other dignitaries were also present.
