Balachor - Deputy Commissioner Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa attended as the chief guest on the last day of Apada Mitra Training at Lamarine Technical Skills University Balachor. On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (J) Rajeev Verma and SDM Nawanshahr Dr. Akshita Jain were also specially present with him. On reaching the training program, the chancellor of Lemarin University Dr. Sandeep Singh Kaura welcomed them.

Deputy Commissioner Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa encouraged the volunteers to be ready to face any challenge. He said that Government of India, NDMA, SDMA, DDMA SBS Nagar and Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration Chandigarh have started to provide relief during any kind of natural or man-made calamity in the country. On this occasion, Prof. Bhatia said that our 100 rupees spent today can save 1 crore tomorrow and he said that this training is being given at the international level and he asked all the trainers to conduct this training according to international standards. instructed
Under this scheme, one lakh fully healthy volunteers are being trained in 350 districts of India for rescue operations during disasters.
Each trained community volunteer will be provided with a personal safety emergency action kit as well as group insurance covering life and medical facilities. Under this scheme, a 12-day training camp was started at SBS Nagar Punjab recently under the leadership of Course Director Prof. Dr. Jog Singh Bhatia (Senior Consultant, MAGSIPA), 200 volunteers of the district are being trained by experienced trainers from across the country. On this occasion Tehsildar Praveen Chhibbar, Naib Tehsildar Amarpreet Kumar, Joint Registrar Satbir Singh Bajwa, Shruti Aggarwal Advisor, Yogesh Unyal, Sunil Jaryal, Gulshan Hira, Harkirat Singh, Amanpreet Kaur, Yogesh Sharma, Stanjin Sela, Kumari Nurnisha, Shubham Verma, Sachin Sharma. And besides Anshuman, other dignitaries were also present.
