Speaking as the chief guest during the ceremony organized in this regard, Bibi Harjinder Kaur Baidwan said that today girls are not behind anyone and are advancing in every field. He said that about half a dozen girls of the constituency have become judges after passing the PCS judicial examination in the past and if the girls get the necessary encouragement, they can go ahead in every field.
Mrs. Himanshu Dhand, Principal of the school said that after Kala Utsav (District and Zone Level), Departmental Sports Tournament Zone, the female players with the positions obtained at the district level have been honored with medals and certificates.
Mrs. Sudha Jain (State Awardee) in charge of all round activities of the school while sharing the list of students in detail said that they have secured positions in Kala Utsav (at district level) and secured positions at zone level.
Physical education teacher Mrs. Kirandeep Kaur and Mrs. Sarabjit Kaur said that the players of this school have won positions at zone level and district level as well. Similarly, the girl students of this school have also secured positions in the games of Punjab. Apart from this, due to the preparation conducted by Mrs. Rita Sharma, Music Lecturer and Mrs. Jyoti Shorey, Geography Lecturer, the students of the school have also secured positions in various competitions organized by the Bharat Vikas Parishad.
Under the guidance of school teachers Mrs. Mandeep Kaur, Mrs. Reema and Sangita Joshi, the student Sukhjit Kaur won the first position at the district level in the competition organized by the National Population Institute.
