Nawanshahr - Deputy Commissioner Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa held a meeting with the officials of the concerned departments to take stock of the status of the girls' school being built at Mahindipur village. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) Sagar Setia was also specially present with him on this occasion.
  Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa said that the objective of this initiative, supported by the voluntary contribution of land by the Mahindipur panchayat, is to establish a dedicated school for girls. He said that the education department is making a systematic way to implement this work. During the meeting, the officials briefed the Deputy Commissioner about the ongoing processes and developments related to the project. The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officials to complete the project on time. District Education Officer (Secondary) Jarnail Singh, Tehsildar Nawanshahr Praveen Chibbar, BDPO Rajwinder Kaur, Sarpanch of Mahdipur and other officials were also present on this occasion.
