Important points were discussed in the monthly meeting through the city council

  Councilor Navjot Kaur Bharti said that the road leading to Shri Guru Ravidas Dham and Samshanghat Road at Jadla should be constructed in a good way. Where they can sit together and discuss ideas among themselves. Similarly, in Agenda No. 7, Councilor Sital Chaupra said that she wants to open a dispensary. Once the work was done near the bus stand, now this dispensary has been converted into a hospital on Nawanshahr Road.
This place should be cleaned and parking facilities should be provided so that the people coming to the market do not face any difficulty. In this way, the people will get benefit and the income of the municipal council will increase. In Agenda No. 15, Municipal Council Inspector Pritam Singh demanded to increase the income of the Municipal Council. All the councilors and president of the city council were told that the cleaning workers working in the city council need uniforms in winter and summer. Keeping this demand in mind, the uniforms should be given on time so that they do not face any problem. Similarly, regarding the issue of development of the city, the former president of the municipal council Hemant Randev Bobby and councilor Bimal Kumar said that poor quality material was used in the roads built in the city. Now the roads have started to break down. He said that the condition of the roads inside his ward is not very good. The Municipal Council should also take action against the contractor building the city roads.
He further said that incomplete sewage system of the city is also creating problems. Which raises questions on the working system of the Municipal Council. On this occasion, Municipal Council Vice President Mahinder Pal, Councilor Mandeep Kaur, Councilor Davinder Kumar Jangra, Councilor Karnail Singh, Councilor Sheetal Chaupra, Councilor Vimal Kumar, Councilor Navjot Kaur Bharti, Councilor Hemant Randev Bobby, Councilor Davinder Kaur, Councilor Manjit Kaur, former Councilor Baldev Bharti and Ajay Vashisht were also present.
