The Deputy Chief Minister said this while presiding over the review meeting of various ongoing developmental works in the district in the District Council Hall. He instructed the departmental officers of the district to focus their entire attention on the ongoing development works in the district so that the people of the district can get the benefit on time by completing the developmental works within the stipulated time. He said that to take the district on the path of development, the concerned departmental officers should speed up the development works.
He spent Rs 31.5 crore on the water supply schemes of Bulk Drug Park, an important scheme of the district, Rs 14.44 crore on electricity projects, Rs 42.04 crore on road connectivity, about Rs 12 crore for recharging water sources, Rs 10.6 crore on the water supply scheme of the administrative block. Are going. He instructed the concerned departments to intensify their work.
Mukesh Agnihotri said that for the first time in Una district, electricity will be generated on 421 hectares of land through a 117 MW solar plant on which Rs 800 crore will be spent. He said that Rs 870.95 crore will be constructed from Behdu to Lathiani bridge, which will be the longest bridge in the state. He said that this bridge will prove to be important in taking Una on the path of development. He instructed DFO to get forest clearance done for this work soon. Apart from this, he said that the officers should work on priority basis for the PGI Satellite Center being built in the district. He said that he himself is in constant touch with PGI to take this project forward so that its construction work can be expedited. He said that the work of Critical Care Block in the Regional Hospital has been awarded at a cost of Rs 23.75 crore. Apart from this, he directed to complete the remaining works in the Mother Child Hospital within 45 days so that people can get better health facilities.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that approximately Rs 800 crore is being spent on water supply schemes in the district. He directed the officials of Jal Shakti Department to ensure smooth water supply to the people day and night so that they do not have to face any kind of problem.
He said that Rajiv Gandhi Day-Boarding Schools are being built in all the development blocks of the district for which land has been transferred. He informed that funds have been provided for the day-boarding schools to be built in Haroli and Gagret. He said that the first traffic park of the state is being built at a cost of Rs 3.65 crore in which people will get all kinds of facilities. He said that the construction work of KV Saloh is almost complete while the work of KV Bangana is in the final stage.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the drug-free Una campaign is continuing on a war footing at the district level. Students of schools and colleges are being made aware about the ill effects of drugs. At the same time, every house knocking campaign is being carried out on the ground by the officials. He instructed the police department to keep a close watch on the activities of the drug de-addiction centers being run in the district.
Mukesh Agnihotri said that work is being started soon to develop Mata Shri Chintpurni Temple in a grand form. He told that to promote religious tourism in Mata Shri Chintpurni, a museum will be built with Rs 11 crore and Mata Ka Bagh will be built in Kinnu with Rs 5.88 crore. Apart from this, the temple trust has earned an income of Rs 5 crore under the Sugam Darshan system, for which he congratulated the temple administration. Apart from this, Havan, Jagran and other facilities have been made online, and about 100 LED street lights are being installed for the convenience of the devotees visiting the temple.
Deputy Commissioner Raghav Sharma virtually informed about the situation regarding various developmental works going on in the district. He assured that all the ongoing development works in the district will be intensified and will be completed within the stipulated time frame.
On this occasion, District Congress President Ranjit Rana, District Council President Neelam Kumari, Vice President Krishnapal Sharma, Block Congress President Vinod Bittu, ASP Sanjeev Bhatia, Additional Deputy Commissioner Mahendra Pal Gurjar, all SDMs including officers of all departments of the district and other senior officers were present.
