Una, December 15 - Keeping in view the upcoming Lok Sabha elections-2024, a special awareness campaign is being run in Assembly Constituency - 44 Una till January 30, 2024. Giving information in this regard, Assistant Returning Officer and SDM Vishwa Mohan Dev Chauhan said that voters are being made aware about the Lok Sabha elections - 2024 through special awareness about Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail. .
He called upon the voters of the concerned polling station to participate in this special awareness campaign and also asked the representatives of Panchayati Raj institutions to make as many people as possible aware under the campaign.
SDM said that under the special awareness campaign, an awareness booth of EVM has also been set up in Mini Secretariat Una and Sub Tehsil Mehatpur-Basdehra.
