Nawanshahr, - The person wanted in a case of fraud registered by the Banga City Police on November 14 has been arrested from Amritsar Sahib yesterday. ASI Satnam Singh said that Rakesh Kumar Chhibba, a resident of Banga, told Senior Police Captain Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar on a complaint that a person named Jay Pal, a resident of Banga, had made a deal with him for three and a half lakhs for a vehicle, from which Later, after giving 30 thousand rupees as a deposit during the transaction, the said person committed fraud by not paying the remaining amount of 1 lakh 80 thousand by depositing the amount of one and a half lakh in their account through 2 chqs.
Regarding this, Senior Police Captain Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar presented the matter after taking the advice of DA Legal to have the investigation of this matter done by Deputy Police Captain Banga Sarwan Singh Ball and he did not appear himself.
A case was registered against the person under section 420/506. After which the said person was informed by sending permission to call the police station at different times and present his side. Repeated raids were conducted by the police party. Which was captured yesterday on December 10 from Amritsar. He will be produced in the honorable court for further proceedings today after medical examination.
