The cabinet minister said that earlier this water supply scheme was started for 3 villages in 2009 but drinking water was not available to the residents of village Khairar Rawal Bassi, due to which to start a separate water supply scheme for village Khairar Rawal Bassi. A request was made, which was seriously considered and the scheme was sanctioned at a cost of Rs.55.18 lakhs. He said that clean drinking water has been provided to 2180 population of the village through this scheme.
Bram Shankar Jimpa said that the Punjab government has taken into consideration every small and big need of the people. Where 600 units of free electricity are provided to common people.
