Rajpura police arrested two persons including a woman with more than 3 and a half kilos of opium

Sharing this information with the media here, SSP Patiala Varun Sharma said that the police party including ASI Gurmeet Singh of City Police Rajpura, while patrolling, saw two persons, including a woman, coming near village Kharajpur, who were carrying backpacks on their shoulders. On searching the bags of both, 3 kg 600 grams of opium was seized from them. The person was identified as Muneshwar Kumar Dangi son of Sukhdev Mahato resident of village Unta police station Sadar Chatra district Chatra Jharkhand and the woman was identified as Kiran Devi wife Kuldeep Ganju resident of village Baratri Dakkahana Piri police station Simaria district Chatra Jharkhand. A case was registered against both of them under the NDPS Act at Police Station City Rajpura. The accused are being produced in the court and are being interrogated after obtaining a two-day police remand.
