NIA raided 44 places, arrested 13 people

New Delhi, December 9 - The National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided a total of 44 locations in the two states of Maharashtra and Karnataka this Saturday morning. After the raid, the agency has arrested 13 people from Pune.

New Delhi, December 9 - The National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided a total of 44 locations in the two states of Maharashtra and Karnataka this Saturday morning. After the raid, the agency has arrested 13 people from Pune. It is being told that these people are associated with the terrorist organization ISIS. The NIA conducted search operations at 43 locations in Maharashtra and one location in Karnataka. The highest number of raids were conducted at 31 locations in Thane Rural, two in Pune, nine in Thane City, one in Bhayandar and one each in Karnataka.
According to sources in the investigating agency, a network linked to ISIS has been detected, which was trying to spread the ideology of ISIS in India. This entire network was being run by handlers sitting abroad. Their purpose was to carry out terrorist activities in India.
These people used to recruit young people in India who were influenced by the ideology of ISIS. They were trained to make IEDs.
