Meanwhile, Municipal Council Kharar Chief Sanitary Inspector Balbir Singh Dhaka, Sanitary Inspector Rajinder Kumar and Sanitary Inspector Hardarshanjit Singh cut 6 challans of single use plastic and thermocol of shopkeepers and hawkers and seized 15 kg of plastic.

CF Narinder Singh of Municipal Council Kharar said that under the leadership of Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, the council, under the leadership of S. Sukhdev Singh, the city residents went door to door to separate wet and dry waste, make wet waste compost, single use. Awareness is being given to use cloth, jute and paper bags instead of plastic.
